Empowering Mentees Through Effective Communication Workshop.

On Saturday, March 16th, 2024, Senator Ronald C.Duncombe’s NexGen Young Men Mentorship Program hosted an engaging workshop for the mentees aimed at enhancing their communication skills. The workshop, led by Mentor Ronnie Ferguson, focused on various aspects of effective communication.

Valuable insights were shared, covering topics such as: mastering public speaking, refining interpersonal communication skills, understanding proper verbal communication, and navigating online protocols. These essential tools were provided to help the mentees articulate confidently.

We were honored to have the presence and support of Minister of National Security, Hon. Wayne Munroe, K.C., M.P. Freetown, along with his son RBDF Acting Sub. Lieutenant Wayne Munroe, Jr., who both generously shared their wisdom and experiences with the mentees.

Minister Munroe emphasized the importance of conflict resolution, offering valuable insights into navigating youth experiences.

Minister Munroe’s son RBDF Acting Sub. Lieutenant Wayne Munroe, Jr., also gave impactful to the young mentees conveying the significance of various leadership styles, teamwork, how to conduct yourself as a young man, setting personal goals and emphasizing the necessity to foster personal growth.
